Grateful for the excellent job this professional team completed on our whole house move! Team members are courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable about packing, moving, and storing. Moving is stressful with lots of tasks needing attention all at once. A Better Way Moving & Storage helped the move go better than we imagined. 🦋

A Better Way Moving were excellent movers. We had a large move across several states with stops at two houses in two different states before we got to our final destination in Indiana, and they made it seem effortless. Their communication was great, every step of the way, which is very important dealing with a normally stressful situation. I would highly recommend them.

We have used A Better Way Moving and Storage twice to help move large items from one home to another. Randy is very easy to communicate with to set everything up, he works with your schedule. The movers are very professional and polite, they are easy to work with as well. I highly recommend this company, they are locally owned and have been in business a long time!

Timely and efficient!!! It was a wonderful experience to move things out of the house, and then, rearrange furniture within!!! Sooo goood!!!!

Good experience from start to finish. I needed to move some heavy woodworking equipment and Randy took extra planning steps to make sure his guys knew what they were getting into and what equipment they would need to do it safely. The crew worked hard and efficiently and with good humor on the hottest days of the summer. In addition to the shop they moved our household furniture carefully and quickly. Between the day of their estimate and our moving day we had moved most of the small stuff ourselves and since they had less to do, they billed us only for the man-hours they actually used, which was way less than the estimate. All in all a job well done.

The team from A Better Way Moving and Storage was great. They were polite, efficient, punctual, and experienced. They moved a piano for me from one house to another. I knew that the IU Jacobs School of Music used this moving company regularly to move their pianos. It was more expensive than I had anticipated, but upon calling around, I learned that it was less expensive than two other moving companies in town. I would definitely use these guys again for any moving needs.

Amazing service. The gentlemen were quick, efficient, and mindful. They got all of my things from my 2 story apartment into my house within 2.5 hours. They were very mindful of our delicate furniture and reassembled our mirror with ease. They even put our TV back on our entertainment center. They also provided rug runners to ensure our carpet wouldn’t get anything on it. Every time they came in, they wiped their shoes off and worked their butts off non stop. I will hire them again later. JD, Mike, and Skylar were our fantastic movers! Edit: I forgot to mention they also dumped our washer and dryer for us! A small reasonable fee was communicated and charged. It was no easy task either. They had to move our stacked washer and dryer from our narrow hallway on the second floor and down narrow stairs. I was amazed with how quick and efficiently they were able to bring it down. I could’ve never been able to do that myself! Skylar, JD, and Mike were our guys! Edit May 2026: I rehired them for some furniture moving again! I had some cabinets and other big items I needed help with. As usual, they were amazing. Quick and friendly. Very mindful of carrying and being careful around walls, doors etc. Cam and Mike were our guys! They disassembled and reassembled my bed frame and desk! They also hauled in several fully wood antique cabinets and display cases in very tight areas. Truly recommend!

I had the absolute best experience with A Better Way Moving and Storage. The crew was efficient and careful in loading and unloading at my new home. We used Better Way to help us move out of our house and we are utilizing their storage. They were incredibly kind and efficient. We will without a doubt use them again!

They were amazing! I'll list out some of the highlights: - early to the site - professional - incredibly careful with the home and the furniture - very communicative both while at the house and in the days before the move - fast and efficient - took apart and reassembled everything that needed it - put everything where we asked at a high level of detail (making sure something is centered for example) - carried impressively heavy and unwieldy things up a flight of stairs repeatedly and never slowed down - flat rate all-inclusive hourly pricing - provided the truck and had a person stay on the truck to stage the items so there was no downtime - used a lift instead of a ramp, which kept things safer - carefully wrapped and protected furniture - brought all their own equipment (dollies, mattress lifts, furniture pads, drills, etc) - friendly and respectful - moved my piano with impressive care - great pricing and affordability. Movers are expensive and trucks are expensive and they were very generous with their pricing (especially considering what they could charge in a city like Bloomington where masses of people move each year because of IU) They worked around our mess since we weren't done packing the little things yet. They didn't complain once about any of it or make me feel bad or embarrassed about not being ready. I cannot recommend them enough! "For the Alliance!" [Inside joke for my movers alone :) ]

A Better Way really went above and beyond for our out of state move. Randy and Merlin gave us an accurate estimate and JD, Chris, and Skyler were so careful with all our things (we had SO MUCH STUFF) and were professional and punctual. As an additional wrinkle, I injured my back right before our move and they sent Julie to pack our entire kitchen-- she was fast and efficient and everything made it safely to St. Louis. Highly, highly recommend!

We needed professional help moving a grand piano to our new home. These guys came highly recommended and I’m glad we didn’t look any further. They were professional, prompt and very reasonably priced. It was obvious they knew what they were doing and did a fantastic job getting our piano exactly where we wanted it, with extreme care. Great experience from start to finish. Randy who answered the phone was always friendly even when I needed to change my moving date. The 2 gentlemen that came to my house were friendly and professional. I would recommend them if you are moving things into your home. I had them help me unload a 16' POD full of stuff into my new apartment and then any remaining items into a storage unit nearby. Great handling the whole way.

These guys are amazing!!! They were very nice and extremely efficient. They moved our entire 6000 sq ft house in about 4 hours. They then unloaded it Photos and set everything back up. They went above and beyond and never once complained. They even worked with me when I changed my mind a hundred times🤣. If you are moving it is 💯 worth the money!!!

After reading moving horror stories, I did careful research to choose my movers. I was completely blown away with "A Better Way's" way to move my belongings from Florida to Indiana. After finding them through internet research, I called to inquire if they were moving someone to Florida during the time period I wished to move to Indiana. They had a Florida delivery scheduled. They answered every question I had, no matter how small. Mike was amazing. I still cannot believe the time in which the truck was loaded in Florida and unloaded in Indiana. They put everything where asked. My boxes (all 72 of them) were marked on top with the room destination. When the crew was finished, they asked "are you sure there's nothing more you need done?" before they left. I've had many successful corporate moves, but never an experience like that with "A Better Way." There ARE fine movers out there today. Just do your homework!

It's hard to find good people these days, but with A Better Way Moving, you will find them. Personable, considerate and hard work. Plus, they are people I'm comfortable with being in my home.

A Better Way helped me move from a three bedroom townhouse to a three bedroom apartment ~100 miles away. The team was professional, courteous, and treated my things as if they were their own. My new apartment complex requested that the team not hold the elevator to fully load it, and the Better Way team followed the rule without push back. Overall, the price, efficiency, and overall quality was well worth it!

My wife and I were moved by their team. Indianapolis to Bloomington. Superb stamina, professionalism, and service. They helped with furniture tear down / put together, and made the process zero stress. They were able to safely/effectively pack a 1400 sq foot house into the truck in a bit over an hour. Great moving company and people. The movers arrived 15 minutes early and worked very quickly to get our 3,000 square foot home loaded onto the truck and to our new home. Start to finish less than four hours, so helpful. Great attitudes and work ethic. Highly recommend!

These guys are awesome! We have used them twice now. Once long haul from GA to Indiana, and then again moving across town. Both times the crew have been positive, extremely professional and FAST. Treating our items and home the way they would treat their own. We can’t recommend A Better Way more for moving!
